Nicole Olsen is the Financial Literacy Program Director for Financial Fitness in Windsor and Sarnia Ontario. Nicole holds two bachelor degrees in Music (Hons.) and Education from the University of Windsor (2004 & 2006) and she can play a mean trumpet.

She started working for Financial Fitness as a Financial Counsellor in September of 2010. In a record 12 months Nicole completed her Insolvency Counsellors Course (ICQC), the coaching curriculum through ICF accredited Coaches Training Institute (CTI), Association for Financial Counseling and Planning Education designation (AFCPE) and the OACCS Certified Credit Counsellor. Nicole is passionate about continued professional development and completed her Certified Educator in Personal Finance (CEPF) in 2013. There are now too many letters after her name to fit comfortably on a business card.

Nicole spends part of her time counselling clients on a one on one basis in the Windsor office and the other half on the road delivering Financial Literacy workshops. Her counselling style is empathetic and compassionate. Many of her clients keep in contact with her even after their programs have been completed. As the Program Director she works closely with our community partners to develop strong community relationships and collaborations, building connections to provide unbiased financial education in the community. She has produced and  developed a variety of new workshops in the 2012-2013 year, including the Busy Moms couponing workshop and the Moon Jar Children’s Financial Program.

Nicole is also our resident geek and techno wunderkind. She is responsible for all web development, social media management and anything tech-y.

On her off time Nicole is the CFO  & CEO of her busy family, husband Aaron and two rambunctious children Lucas and Liam. Nicole loves TV, Movies and anything Geekdom.
